Introduction: Knowing the factors that lead to job satisfaction is essential for employees and employers to improve the work environment. This study investigates the relationship between job satisfaction and the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms in the Allameh Behlool Gonabadi Hospital in 2021.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 107 employees of Allameh Behlool Hospital in Gonabad in 2021. A demographic information checklist, Nordic standard questionnaire, and Minnesota job satisfaction questionnaire were used. Collected data were entered into SPSS software version 24 and interpreted using descriptive and analytical statistics. The significance level for all analyses was considered 0.05.
Results: The mean age of the participants was 31.10±6.45, and the mean job satisfaction score was 55.08± 10.34. According to the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire, 48 people had average satisfaction, and 59 had unsatisfactory satisfaction. There was no significant relationship between musculoskeletal symptoms and job satisfaction; however, musculoskeletal symptoms were higher in people with unfavorable job satisfaction.
Conclusion: The prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders and job dissatisfaction in hospital staff is high, which can play an essential role in reducing their work efficiency and disability. Therefore, due to the special position of hospital staff in the health system, measures are recommended to improve workplace ergonomics and solve the psychological problems of these people.

Introduction: The presence of personal, occupational, and organizational stressors in retired workers can cause many psychological problems in the field of personal, family, and social functioning. Therefore, current research was conducted to compile a model of correlates of stress factors of retired workers.
Materials and Methods: The current research was based on a systematic review and extracting the correlates of retired workers, stress based on the highest frequency of more than 60 studies, and preparing a list based on the most frequent variables of studies, which was used by the path analysis method. The statistical population included all retirees aged 45 to 70 working as members of retirement centers in Isfahan City in the winter of 1400, of which 203 out of 379 workers were selected through a convenient sampling method. To collect data, a set of questionnaires included HSE, organizational stressors, job satisfaction, participative leadership, hope, resilience, perception of organizational support, perception of organizational justice, life satisfaction, work-family conflict, adaptive performance, communication skills, and perception of job security were used. SPSS version 21 was used to analyze the research data.
Results: results showed that the correlates of occupational stress included hope, resilience, perception of justice, perception of organizational support, life satisfaction, job satisfaction, work-family conflict, adaptive performance, organizational stressors, communication skills, participative leadership and perception of job security, which were among them, work-family conflict, organizational support and job security at the first level (P<0.01) and second level job satisfaction and life satisfaction based on the highest coefficients and learnability (P<0.01) were determined as the main predictors of occupational stress of working retirees.
Conclusion: It is suggested to the managers of health, national pension, military, and social security fields to pay serious attention to these variables to prevent the economic, social, family, and physical consequences of occupational stress.

Introduction: Laboratories play a crucial role in education and scientific research by providing an environment for various experiments and investigations. However, due to potential hazards such as chemical, biological, and physical agents, laboratories are inherently considered dangerous work environments. Therefore, it is essential to have a reliable and valid tool to evaluate the safety of these environments comprehensively. Therefore, this study was conducted to design and psychometrical evaluation a comprehensive tool for safety evaluation in university laboratory complexes.
Materials and Methods: In the first stage, a Checklist was developed across various areas through a process that involved using a literature review, field visits, Interviews with laboratory technicians, and creating videos from multiple laboratories. The initially designed questionnaire was sent to 10 safety experts for face validity, and then their comments on the question phrasing were considered. To assess the content validity, two measures were employed: the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and the Content Validity Index (CVI). Additionally, the reliability of the instrument was evaluated using Cronbach's alpha calculation method.
Results: In the initial stage, a total of 286 questions were designed within 9 different areas. Subsequently, 49 questions were removed by expert members due to overlapping concepts, resulting in a final questionnaire consisting of 237 questions. The content validity index and relative coefficient were found to be above 0.8 in all areas, indicating strong content validity. Furthermore, Cronbach's alpha value exceeded 0.7 in all areas, suggesting a desirable level of reliability for the designed program.
Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrate that the developed questionnaire exhibits acceptable levels of validity and reliability. As such, it can serve as a comprehensive and suitable tool for monitoring safety in University complex laboratories.

Introduction: Today, the insurance industry is considered one of the most essential factors in wealth and social well-being production. This industry is based on economic service and has a critical and sensitive position in economic growth and development, especially in developing countries. Since human resources are the most valuable capital to realize the goals of this industry, therefore, it is necessary to examine the factors related to the psychological empowerment of employees. Based on this, the current research was conducted to compare the quality of work life and job embeddedness based on the life orientation of optimistic-pessimistic nature in Kermanshah insurance offices.
Materials and Methods: This study was a causal-comparative study in terms of goals and descriptive in terms of the data-gathering procedure. The sample size of the research was 280 people (62 women and 218 men) from the employees of Pasargad Insurance in Kermanshah city in 1401, which were selected by convenience sampling. To collect data, Walton's Quality of Work Life (QWL), Ardalan et al.'s Job Embeddedness (JEQ), and Sheyer & Carver's Life Orientation (LOT) questionnaires were used. The research data were analyzed using SPSS-27 software and multivariate analysis of variance.
Results: The results of the MANOVA test showed that all the dimensions of the quality of work life are different based on the life orientation of optimistic-pessimistic nature. This claim is also true about the six components of occupational institutionalization and shows, that the dimensions of job embeddedness are based on the life orientation of optimistic-pessimistic nature have a significant difference.
Conclusion: Optimism as a hopeful expectation in a specific situation can play a significant role in the quality of working life, and the desire to continue working and creating attachment to organizational tasks. As a result, it is suggested that managers prepare training programs for employees to adopt an optimistic orientation in life to reduce job abandonment and attachment to the organization, which is a consequence of job embeddedness.

Introduction: Construction industries have a complex nature, so they have a high rate of occupational accidents. Construction workers are known as one of the most stressful jobs. In addition to the mental health of employees, occupational stress also has a negative effect on the safety of the workplace. The present study investigates occupational accidents and job stress in a construction company and its relationship with the demographic characteristics of employees.
Materials and Methods: In the present study, occupational accident reports in a construction company were examined. After removing the incomplete reports, the information on 100 accidents such as the type of accident, the cause of the accident, the consequence of the accident, and the person who experienced the accident was collected. After collecting the accident data, the job stress of the injured employee was checked using the Osipow Job Stress Questionnaire. Data analysis was done in SPSS-24 software.
Results: The results showed that slipping and falling from a height had the highest frequency (41%), and electrocution had the lowest frequency (8%) among the accidents. The majority of the injured employees (96%) were placed in the moderate to severe stress group. No significant relationship was found between occupational accidents and demographic variables (P>0.05). Also, a positive and significant relationship was found between job experience and job stress (P<0.05).
Conclusion: The results of this study showed that it is necessary to take safety measures to reduce fall accidents. Due to the negative effects of occupational stress, it is recommended to implement measures such as developing a training program and holding stress management workshops, increasing organizational support, and identifying and adjusting stress sources.

Introduction: job stress is defined as the accumulation of stressful factors in job-related situations, which most people agree is stressful, and it can be the direct factor in the intention to leave the job. The present study investigates the effectiveness of virtual reality exposure therapy and compares its effectiveness with mindfulness-based stress reduction based on mindfulness on the components of job stress employees with job stress.
Materials and Methods: The research design was a semi-experimental pre and post-test with a control group and a follow-up phase. The statistical population included all employees with job stress in a private company in Isfahan City in 2022, and the research sample included 45 employees who were randomly divided into three groups of 15: virtual reality therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy, and Controls were replaced. The people of the two intervention groups participated in the intervention sessions; The first experimental group underwent eight 20-minute weekly sessions of virtual reality therapy, and the second experimental group underwent eight weekly 45-minute sessions based on the Kabat-Zin training package (1990 and 2013), but for the control group no interventions were performed. The participants responded to the occupational stress questionnaire of the Health and Safety Institute of England Steinmetz (HSE) (1990) in three stages. The research data were analyzed with analysis of covariance and Bonferroni's post hoc test and using SPSS23 statistical software at two descriptive and inferential levels.
Results: The results of covariance analysis and Bonferroni's post hoc test indicated that both intervention methods equally and effectively reduced occupational stress in the fields of role, communication, support of colleagues, changes in employees, and the effect of both interventions remained stable over time (P<0.01). Although both methods of intervention reduced the pressure and job stress of employees, and the components of stress include support, control, and demand from officials, and its effect remained constant over time, virtual reality treatment was more effective in both stages (P>0.05).
Conclusion: The results showed that virtual reality courses and stress reduction based on mindfulness can reduce the tensions and job stress of personnel and employees of organizations.

Introduction: Various inactivity affects the life of employees, including their physical health, disrupts the natural process of people's lives, reduces their efficiency and lifespan. One of the solutions to reduce the effects of inactivity is physical activity. In this research, the effect of 12 weeks of calisthenic exercises in the workplace on composite indicators and some blood factors of middle-aged female employees is investigated.
Materials and Methods: In this research study, 30 people were randomly divided into two experimental groups (15 people) and control group (15 people). 12 weeks of calisthenics exercises were performed by the experimental group. Body composition indices and some blood factors were evaluated before and after the exercises. In order to make intra-group comparisons, the correlation T-test was used and for inter-group comparisons, the independent T-test was used and it was used at a significance level of 0.05 using spss software.
Results: The findings showed that calisthenics exercises in the work environment significantly improved body composition indices including weight (P=0.011), body mass index (P=0.026), waist circumference (P=0.0 001), hip circumference (P=0.025) and waist to hip ratio (P=0.036) in the experimental group compared to the control group. Also, a significant improvement in blood sugar (P=0.006), systolic blood pressure (P=0.024) and flexibility (P=0.019) was observed in the experimental group compared to the control. However, no significant difference was observed in diastolic blood pressure (P=0.199), HDL (P=0.184) and LDL (P=0.902).
Conclusion: 12 weeks of calisthenic exercises in the workplace caused significant improvement in body composition indicators, flexibility, blood pressure and blood sugar. But it had no significant effect on HDL and LDL. As a result, these exercises in the workplace can have small effects on the health of female employees and improve their physical health.

Introduction: Plasma is considered the fourth state of matter. Non-thermal plasma is more popular due to its unique features such as easy operation, quick reaction at ambient temperature, and short residence time. In this study, the application of plasma technology in air pollution control will be reviewed.
Materials and Method: In this study, Science Direct, Google Scholar, ISI, Scopus, and Pubmed search engines were used. The keywords searched included plasma, cold plasma, thermal plasma, air pollution control, and non-thermal plasma from 2016 to 2022.
Results: Plasma catalysis is a useful tool for increasing pollutant degradation and energy efficiency in processes. Nevertheless, some limiting factors including the cost of catalysts, the possible cost required for their stabilization, and the resulting secondary pollution must be taken into account.
Conclusion: To commercialize plasma technology, we are facing problems such as increasing the cost and applying the mentioned technology in the real environment. The simultaneous use of catalysts and plasma technology is a useful tool to increase the destruction of pollutants and energy efficiency in processes. No wastewater production and no need for reagents are advantages of the combination of dielectric barrier discharge plasma and catalyst. The combination of dielectric barrier discharge plasma and catalyst will be very attractive methods due to low energy consumption. It seems that the recent research will be in the direction of increasing efficiency, increasing speed, and flexibility, reducing the cost and energy consumption, and making the advanced systems based on cold plasma more environmentally friendly.
